Why We Race — The Heart Behind FlowVision®

Motocross has always been more than just a sport to me — it’s been my life’s compass. I first swung a leg over a bike when I was just 3 years old, but I didn’t line up for my first race until I was 11. My dad was a huge influence in that. He loved the sport and knew the value of patience — he wanted me to truly understand and enjoy the ride before chasing the checkered flag. Looking back, that foundation shaped everything.

Once I finally did start racing, the fire lit fast. By 18, I had turned pro and was traveling the country with my family, chasing the dream in both supercross and motocross until I was 22. Those years were everything — early mornings loading up the van, late nights wrenching under the glow of a pit light, the smell of race gas in the air, and the roar of the crowd when the gate dropped. It wasn’t always glamorous, but it was always worth it. Motocross taught me discipline, grit, and the importance of having the right people in your corner.

When I got married, I knew my next chapter would be about building a stable future for my family. I went back to school while working for some of the top gear brands in the industry, learning every side of the business. For over 12 years, I gained invaluable experience — not just in product and marketing, but in understanding what riders truly need to perform at their best. Eventually, I earned my MBA, but deep down, I knew I wasn’t done giving back to the sport that shaped me.

That’s when FlowVision® was born. I wanted to create a company that wasn’t just about selling gear — it was about building a brand rooted in the motocross lifestyle, one that supports riders, families, and the community as a whole. FlowVision® is our way of giving back, keeping things fun, and staying connected to the sport we love.

Now, the story has come full circle. My son Landon has caught the motocross bug. Watching him line up at the gate, seeing that fire in his eyes, and traveling with my family to events again — it’s like reliving my own journey, but even sweeter. We’re back to long drives, dirt-stained boots, and cheering until we’re hoarse. Only now, it’s about his dream — and sharing those moments together as a family.

At FlowVision®, this is who we are. We race because it’s in our blood. We race because it builds character, creates lifelong memories, and bonds families in a way few things can. And we race because this community — our community — is worth every ounce of energy we put into it.
