Lake Elsinore, CA – The kick-off of the 2019 AMA National Hare and Hound Championship series was in full effect this weekend, located in Lucerne Valley, California. Hosted by Desert MC of District 37, the near 80-mile course for the “52nd Winter Classic” was laid out as two loops; one loop being of moderate difficulty, and the second being very difficult and decorated with plenty of technicality. Words By Justin Shultz: I wish I could sit here and tell you how awesome the race ended for us but unfortunately, that’s not how the story ends. Sadly, after seeing the decision that Score handed out to us, I feel much different about the event and organization that runs it. Alongside his parnter Max Eddy Jr. (who has been looking to achieve this victory for nearly 15-years), the duo complemented one another as the chase began from a mid-pack draw position.  The team drew 4th start position, so they set their sights on getting to the front into the dust-free air. As the starting rider for the day-long race, Eddy, took off from...

Pre-Race report: The team headed down south to  Ensenada early Sat morning, well everyone but Greg was able to come down. Greg had to find a replacement driver to chase him as his father(Gary) fell off a ladder on Thursday and fractured his hip and back. Hopefully Gary heals fully and is back shortly to help us continue to the chase the repeat.  So the first stop we made was at Splash to meet up with Geoff Hill from BajaBound Insurance for a quick lunch where we picked up satellite phones and discuss race day logistics. After leaving Splash we...
